Disturbance Switches And Vibration Switches From A Leading Motion Sensor Switch Manufacturer

Motion sensor switches are electronic components that detect movement across an X, Y, Z plane. They are used as damped switches, vibration sensors, tampering detection devices, and other sensory components that respond to movement when an object is moved from a static position.

Some of the most common applications of motion sensor switches include security systems for various devices and a range of military and industrial equipment. They are essential in virtually any system that requires monitoring of vibration, tampering, or disruption from a specific placement or position.

Unidirectional, Omnidirectional And Planar Motion Sensor Switches

Like acceleration switches, disturbance switches can be configured to be unidirectional, omnidirectional or planar. Omnidirectional switches provide the best sensitivity, as they sense motion in all directions. Unidirectional switches detect motion in a single direction, similar to a tilt switch. A planar switch will detect motion in a horizontal direction.

The right detection range will depend on the type of performance required as well as the specifics of the application. Different lead options are also available and include single and dual leads.

All of our disturbance switches are non-latching. This means that the contact is not maintained once the object is no longer subjected to the triggering force or action.

Motion Sensor And Vibration Switches That Meet The Toughest Standards

All switches we provide are also mercury-free and comply with some of the toughest operational standards. They meet mil-spec requirements for defense-grade electronic circuitry and are exceptionally resistant to moisture, corrosion, and temperature extremes.

We use nickel and other high-quality, rugged materials in the manufacture of our switches. This helps to ensure they meet and exceed the most rigorous application demands. We also use gold-plated contacts and other components for enhanced conductivity and sensitivity, and decreased contact resistance.
